    If it’s online copy, I may use your current template and drop your new sales copy into it so you’ll see what it will look like. I’ll work with you on graphics, boxes, bullets and other items. I want to make sure your copy works.

    Turnaround Time

    Turnaround time varies. But generally I like to have 4 to 6 weeks to complete your sales copy. My schedule fills up fast. Since I accept only a few clients, I need to get everything I ask of you in a timely fashion.

    I can do critiques faster.

    I also offer a rush service. There is a 50% surcharge for that.

    I generally don’t guarantee to have your copy by a certain time. I need whatever time I need. So you're well advised to get your project in the queue. Once I finish the project I’m currently working on, I go to the next in queue. Only paying for a rush job brings your project to the top.

    When you get my quote and accept it, you make your payment. Then, I reserve your place in my schedule.

    You Have 30 Days to Try Out Your Sales Copy.

    While I can’t guarantee specific results, I do give you one full month to try out your new sales copy. I will rewrite it or make changes to it up to three times during that month if you don’t get the results you think you should get.

    However, if you do not follow my advice and use the copy exactly as I tell you to, that voids my obligations to you. I can only stand behind my copy if you use it as I intend for it to be used.

    After one month, we’re done.

    What Does It Cost?

    The fee is $800 per page. A page is 8 ½" x 11” printed. My minimum fee is $3,000 for any project of any size.

    If I give you a quote for 10 pages but end out writing 20 pages, you do not pay more! I often over deliver. Whatever I quote is the fee. Period.

    In addition, you’re responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses if there are any. There usually are not.

    I provide you with a very complete critique of your copy. I go over every word and detail of your copy, formatting and everything else that has to do with that particular document.

    My fee for a critique is from $1,000 to $3,000, depending on the amount of copy. That fee is for one project and not a bundle of items.

    I can give you fresh eyes. I can inject new thinking and keen ideas into your stale copy. I can give you a new hook or a hot headline, a new opening or a more effective guarantee or offer.

    But I’ll be very honest with you about your copy. I will not sugar coat things. If it stinks, I’ll tell you so. I’m not in business to make friends. I’m in business to help you make money.
